Manish Malhotra the Designer Fashion Journey

One of India’s most successful, most demanding fashion designer Manish Malhotra who is popular for his different style in fashion, who started his career as a model had no formal training in fashion design. In 2004 he launched his label “MANISH MALHOTRA” with the help of his original designs and Label which reached to his follower, his fashion house is not only available in Mumbai but also across India.

Manish started his career with Bollywood since 1990 with the film of Swarg designed for Juhi Chawla. Manish was the first Indian designer who before designing, he always requests to read the scripts for before he could design the costumes, he is one of the highly paid fashion designer in Indian film industry. Manish has designed for such popular movie like Raja Hindustani, Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, Dhadkan, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Fashion, Heroine and much more.

He designs for many Bollywood actresses from Sridevi to Aaliya Bhatt witnessing his passion for bollywood till now. He usually designs for women wear but he design for his friend Shahrukh Khan in Mohabbatein and Imran Khan for I Hate Luv Story and his upcoming movie Happy New Year.

He was awarded for first ever Best costume designer for Rangeela, then later awarded for so many movies like Raja Hindustani, Kuch kuch Hota Hai and many more.

The label of 'Manish Malhotra' is the country’s first notable ethnic wear recognition merged with Bollywood, leading actress love to follow his designs and many have him design their wedding wear as well. Kareena Kapoor has worn Manish Malhotra Saree for her After Wedding Ceremony.
